| SMTown in S'pore for the first time
SINGAPORE - One of K-pop's biggest concerts is being held in Singapore on Nov 23.
Called SMTown, the annual concert features K-pop's biggest names such as TVXQ!, BoA, Girls Generation (SNSD), SHINee, Kangta, Super Junior, f(x) and EXO.
The artistes made a short appearance at a press conference held at Ritz Carlton just before they were due to perform.
Dishing out well-packaged, factory-made answers, most of them were in their best form with smiles plastered on their faces throughout the event.
BoA, arguably K-pop's biggest name to date, showed up looking flawless but appeared bored throughout the media session.
Another veteran was Kangta, whose chiseled good looks were highlighted with every smile he readily flashed.
SNSD's Seohyun was poised and very lady-like, giving off a princess-like charisma true to the way her management company has trained her to.
Onew from SHINee flashed a cheeky smile during his senior's well-scripted answers, while TVXQ!'s Yunho and Changmin remained still and expressionless most of the time.
Rookies EXO appeared nervous but excited. Like his senior BoA, Chris from EXO responded to questions in English. Chinese member of f(x), Victoria, enthusiastically responded in Mandarin instead.
Super Junior's Donghae appeared the most relaxed of the bunch, cracking jokes within his lengthy answers.
SMTown takes place at the Marina Bay Floating Platform on Nov 23.
Tickets for the $5 million production were reportedly sold out in minutes.
The K-pop stars are expected to perform in front of 24,000 fans, making SMTown one of the biggest concerts in Singapore in recent years.
