Mr Kelvin Wang, 39, a consultant in the petrochemical industry, handles acquisitions, and acquires and manages accounts in his work.
In the face of demanding corporate customers, "you have to be very patient. One of the key things is to have sharp listening skills", says Kelvin, who adds that many people spend time selling themselves instead of understanding what their clients need.
It's about "KYC" - "know your clients", he explains. "You can learn a lot by keeping quiet and listening." In the mid-term, he wants to climb the corporate ladder and become the regional head.
In the long term, Kelvin wants to start his own company - probably in the health and fitness arena.
"I love sports - basketball, volleyball, going to the gym. I do not smoke and I seldom drink," he says. "I don't want to find out when I'm 60 that I have liver disease or lung cancer from leading a frivolous lifestyle."
Despite a busy schedule, Kelvin says he squeezes in two exercise sessions - three preferably - each week.
"Sometimes, people go gung-ho about exercise for a month and then stop.
"As with everything in life, consistency is key," says Kelvin.

Ms Jang Mi Young, 26, came to Singapore alone 11 months ago to learn English.
The South Korean says she chose to come here as many of her countrymen see Singapore as a safe country.
She'll be here for a while more. Two months back, Mi Young started work as an accountant, and she now looks to take a part-time diploma in hospitality and tourism management. The end-goal of it all? It's so she can join Singapore Airlines as an air crew.
In her free time, Mi Young says she likes to work out and drink.
"I like all kinds of exercise. I love to sweat because after sweating, I feel fresher," she says, adding that she has a second dan in Taekwondo and a yoga teaching certificate.
As for drink, well, it's because it helps people relax so "I can have a good relationship even with people I'm meeting for the first time".
She sounds like she is coping well with life here, but there is something Mi Young misses.
"Now, I miss Korean wine. I can buy it in Singapore but it's very expensive...it costs about five times as much!"
Why you should vote for me: "I'm an outgoing person. Most people like me even when we meet for the first time." |
