Mr Norman Yeo, 32, is the design director of interior design outfit One-Stop Concept - his own business.
It's my dream," says Norman, who has been in interior design for 11 years. "I liked drawing since I was young."
He studied interior design at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), and recalls how he ended up there. "After National Service, I didn't know which school to go to as none of my friends were interested in art."
One day, Norman happened to pass by the old NAFA campus in the Orchard area and decided to have a look. Inside, he saw an old man who was planting flowers.
The "gardener" invited Norman to his office. "Then, I realised he was the head of the interior design course!" recounts Norman.
Norman, who did up celebrity hairstylist David Gan's house, says he is a hands-on person -- everything from site inspection to shopping for decor items to designing -- so he can only take on one project at a time.
"I'll do colour analysis for my clients, and I have to understand their lifestyle, what kind of food they eat, what kind of entertaining they do," he enthuses.
He works until the wee hours of the morning on weekdays, but weekends are off-limits.
"Saturday and Sunday are for rest," says Norman.
Why you should vote for me: I'm serious in what I set out to do because I have a dream to achieve

Ms Stacie Ng, 28, a primary school teacher, wants to develop her students holistically.
"Nowadays, many young people are less concerned about the people around them," she says, lamenting that they may be spending so much time surfing the Net that they are losing touch with the real world.
"To juggle academic pursuits and character development is one of the challenges of teaching. I have to spend a lot of time developing their moral character and their values."
Stacie is also concerned about "saving the earth for our children".
Everyone just has to do a small thing, she says. Like limiting the number of plastic bags they use, switching off the power when they not around, or using public transport instead of driving. Leading by example, Stacie says she restricts herself to using one plastic bag a day.
"The other way is to educate the young ones on the importance of saving the earth. These habits should start when they are young," she says.
Why you should vote for me: "If you're also into conserving the environment, then vote for me."
