Mr Phua Chengmun 29, an engineer with Hewlett-Packard, is probably a familiar face in the town of Senai in Johor.
He spends four days a week there, helping manufacturing companies set up their infrastructure and use HP's products. While his workday ends at 5.30, Chengmun is on 24-hour standby, in case the clients run into any difficulty. Still, he strikes a work-life balance by meeting friends for board games and sports.
Chengmun plays tennis, golf and football. He wouldn't miss his weekly football session for anything. In fact, his company has its own league.
"It keeps you healthy, and you get to meet friends. In football for example, you get to meet 22 people or more," he says.
It is also a networking thing for him, since playing in the league allows Chengmun to meet people from other departments, which is very useful in expanding his contacts, since he hopes to move on to other job scopes eventually.
"I would like to know the different trades in this business on a corporate level, for example, how logistics is being conducted," explains the ambitious guy.

Ms Jeanette Wee , 23, says she would get bored easily in a 9 to 5 job.
So a month after graduating from NUS business school last December, she teamed up with two partners to open a cafe at Nanyang Technological University.
"I'm not the type who likes to work for others. I thought starting a business would be something different and more challenging," says Jeanette. It also gives her the flexibility of time to pursue her passion: distance running.
Right now, she is preparing for the Army Half Marathon, training about five to six times a week. Jeanette says she runs about 50-odd km each week.
Besides training, she is busy with planning work for the cafe, which is relocating to National University of Singapore. Another is being planned for the Ang Mo Kio Hub.
"I hope to be successful in my business and also to be one of the better runners in Singapore," says Jeanette. "Maybe one day, I can represent the country.">
