Winners of AsiaOne Faces for August are...

Nurse Veron Ann Lincoln and final-year Social Work student Tommy Cheng.

Congratulations to Ms Veron Ann Lincoln, 24, and Mr Tommy Cheng, 24 - our Faces of the Month for August.

Veron won with 36.68% of the votes, narrowly beating out flight attendent Evonne Lee, 29, who had 33.17% of the votes.

For the men, Tommy left the others in the dust with a whopping 70.07% of the votes. Events coordinator Chen Weijia, 24, was a distant second with 10.88%.

Our winners each get a $300 Takashimaya shopping voucher while the other six featured contestants will each get a $100 Takashimaya shopping voucher.

Both winners will vie for AsiaOne's Face of the Year at the end of the year, along with all the other monthly winners. Once again, readers will be the judges and vote for the most popular guy and gal.

When voting for your favourite faces at the end of the month, do remember you can only vote once from each IP address.

Multiple votes from the same IP address will still be counted as one vote.

Game to be AsiaOne’s Face of the Month?

AsiaOne is on the lookout for two photogenic people to feature as our "Face of the Month.”

We will post two pictures each week – one male and one female.

AsiaOne roving photographers will either snap these pictures or you could send in entries as well.

At the end of each month, AsiaOne readers will be invited to vote for who they think should be the “Face of the Month.”

By year’s end, there will be 24 faces (12 males and 12 females). From these, readers will vote for the most popular face from each category, and the two will be named AsiaOne’s “Face of the Year.”

The winning couple stand to take home attractive mystery prizes, which will be announced later.

•  Resolution: 150 dpi (max)

For the month of December, each participant gets $120 worth of spa vouchers from Beyond Beauty/For Him and AsiaOne's cooler bag and shoe pouch. In addition, the two monthly winners will each receive $60 worth of gift vouchers from Robinsons.
