Mr Adrian Lok, 26, a Ngee Ann Polytechnic student and part-time wakeboarding instructor, loves the sea.
"I'm very much a sea sports persons. Most of the time, if I'm not in school, I'll be out in the sea," said Adrian, who is in the final semester of his chemical engineering course. Besides wakeboarding, he canoes and dives, and has a boat driving licence as well.
"Even when I'm on land, I'll be near the beach, perhaps playing volleyball."
As for the future, Adrian thinks work will be a little mundane - for the first few years.
I'm a 'people' person. In my work, I'll be dealing with machines."
Adrian plans to work in the chemical engineering industry for three to five years to gain some experience of the chemical engineering industry before moving to the sales side.
The sociable guy has a homely side too.
"Whenever I have the chance, I stay at home and spend time with my parents. I don't get to see them much because they're working," says Adrian.

Ms Janice Lim, 23, a supermarket retail supervisor, has her hands full with work and studies these days as she is taking a part-time degree course in computing and economics at UniSIM.
This means she has to sacrifice time with friends, but it's worth it as she is upgrading herself, says Janice, who has an IT diploma.
While the supermarket retail line has little to do with what she studied, Janice says it is not hard adapting to her job, which entails organising promotions and events. She leads a team of six retail assistants. She has been doing this for about two years.
She likes her job as "you can mingle and get along well with people", she says. "Retail has to do with customer service. If you don't like to interact with people, then maybe customer service is not for you."
