Rory O' Connor was fishing from his kayak a half-mile from the Sarasota shore when a dog inexplicably swam up to his boat. The dog, Barney, had been involved in a deadly drunk driving accident just 40 minutes earlier and had fled in fright after seeing his owner killed.
