The Prima Deli chain of bakeries has stopped making and selling chocolate cakes, after public health authorities singled them out as the suspected cause of food poisoning that hit more than 100 people.

Six people were hospitalised for salmonella with symptoms like vomiting, abdominal pain, fever and diarrhoea. They've since been discharged, but is this food scare turning people off their chocolate cake?
