Immediately following the announcement that the Virginia Tech gunman was South Korean by birth, many Asian students across the U.S. feared a public backlash.
AsiaOne spoke with Dan Park, an 18-year-old South Korean studying at the University of Chicago.
Though far away from the carnage in the south, the effects of the campus massacre at Virginia Tech had a ripple effect throughout campuses across America, both north and south.
