PR company Hill & Knowlton thanked its media partners with a party at The Living Room at The Arts House, to coincide with the 80th anniversary of its founding.

The theme of the night was Shanghai Tang, and the party crowd showed up gamely in accoutrements that harked back to the classical era of old Shanghai.

Chinese calligraphy and fortune telling were some activities in line with the night's theme, but the ultimate show stopper was a beer guzzling contest that proved competition among the media is never strictly confined to the newsroom.
