The Church of Sweden carried out drive-in weddings at a car rally in a bid to make marriage more accessible.

Undaunted by soaring fuel prices, more than fifty couples got married at the Power Big Meet gathering of American car enthusiasts in Vasteras in central Sweden, abandoning the more traditional church services. The couples, from all around Sweden, stood in a queue for over one hour to say their vows in front of a vicar, friends and their car.
