The Israeli government granted a special permit for a 13-year-old Iranian boy to receive treatment in the Jewish state, which has no diplomatic ties with the Islamic republic and has been the subject of fiercely anti-Israeli rhetoric from Iran.

For the boy, it is a last ditch chance.
