China's Sichuan province has been hit by another deadly earthquake.

This one struck during the late afternoon, near Sichuan's border with Yunnan. It measured 5.7 on the Richter scale.

Chinese state media said the quake killed at least 22 people and left 120 injured. Nearly a thousand houses were destroyed, with more victims feared buried in the ruins.
