Police in Australia deny escalating attacks against Indian students are racially motivated as five teenagers are charged over two separate incidents.

Kieran Walshe, Victorian Police Deputy Commissioner, said: "We don't think it's actually racially motivated, we just think that they're seen as a soft target."
