Post-war Germany turns 60

Sixty years ago, Germany lay in ruins.
After defeat in World War Two, some were shocked to discover how many Germans knew about or took part in Nazi atrocities and the Holocaust. Since then, citizens have tried to come to terms with - and atone for - the crimes of the Third Reich.
Now the country's a major player in the European Union and they are celebrating the 60th anniversary of their constitution.
