Russians remember theatre siege
Oct 27, 2008
Friends, relatives and survivors mark the anniversary of the storming of a theatre in Moscow seized by Chechen rebels.
Six years ago, what should have been a fun night out at the musical Nord Ost turned into a deadly ordeal. Russian troops went in after three days following the rebels' threat to blow up the building, where they were holding the entire audience hostage. The assault ended with the deaths of 130 hostages and 39 rebels.
