Plumber Joe Wurzelbacher of Holland, Ohio, thrust into the presidential election as an example of a struggling small businessman, used his moment of fame to speak out on a number of issues, including the US presidential debate and his newfound celebrity.

Mt Wurzelbacher came to prominence last week when he asked Obama about his tax plan during a campaign stop.
