Indian police say they have shot dead the man behind last week's serial blasts that killed 23 people in India's capital, New Delhi.

A police team killed two suspected militants, including a member of the Indian Mujahideen, during a raid for suspects in connection with the recent bombings in New Delhi, in which a highly decorated police officer was seriously injured.
