Confronting a reinvigorated Republican presidential ticket and recent drop in the polls, Barack Obama isn't going just more negative in his latest television advertisements, he's going personal.

But, with polls trending towards John McCain since the end of the Republican Convention, and with Barack Obama promising to be a different kind of politician -- the Illinois Senator must find a way to raise the intensity of his assaults on the McCain/Palin ticket without damaging his carefully-honed image.
