Flanked by his wife, Malaysia's opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim holds a news conference after learning he could face 20 years in prison on charges of sodomy.

The charge potentially derails Anwar's return to parliament and his plans to push the government out of office. Anwar says the charges is an attempt to derail his political comeback.
