Against a stunning backdrop of Argentina's Bariloche ski resort, rescuers race to free an American snowboarder from a wall of ice and snow.

Randall Stacy was snowboarding with four others when the avalanche struck at Cerro Catedral's Punta Princesa Peak. Resort officials credit the speedy rescue to an electronic tracking device Mr Stacy was using.
