The end for Polish cherry orchards?

As Polish seasonal workers still flock to Britain for the higher wages, farmers at home are suffering from a labour shortage.
Some have started cutting down their cherry trees to make way for more lucrative crops. The Polish labour ministry estimates there's a shortage of around 600 000 workers, in the agricultural and construction sectors alone, or around 12 percent of the workforce.
