Qantas speaks out after one of its planes suffered a hole in its fuselage.

The firm has 225 aircraft around the world and has a reputation stretching back almost 90 years as one of the industry's safety airlines, a reputation its chief executive says Qantas is determined to maintain in the wake of the mid-air emergency aboard one of its Boeing 747s.
