Pamplona's famous bulls are still in their pens but the wild and crazy folk who've thronged here to see them run are on the loose and in very high spirits.

Thousands of cheering revellers danced and sprayed wine at each other as firecracker rockets exploded to start Spain's San Fermin festival.

The first bull run is set for Monday (July 07), an event repeated daily until July 14th.
