Facebook at work
Nov 22, 2007
If people are willing to whip out their Blackberrys in bed to deal with work emails, why can't they access Facebook on their coffee break?
New research reveals that 8 in 10 UK employees spend 20 minutes per night responding to messages, and 6 in 10 admit to responding to work email - from the bathroom. With such dedication to work, why are workers prevented from accessing social networks from their desks? Might businesses actually be doing themselves a disservice by taking such a hardline?
